HMC at Royal Hall – joint concert with HSO
On Saturday 20th June, the joint orchestra of Harrogate Music Centre performed at the Royal Hall in a joint concert with HSO – what an absolute display of musicality and professionalism!
After 3 months of hard work, weekly practice and extreme dedication, more than 60 of our members joined the stage at the Royal Hall under the direction of Bryan Western, conductor of Harrogate Symphony Orchestra. They played to a packed auditorium – the concert was impressive, and the audience was captivated by the high quality of all our performers, from as young as 8 years old in the Youth Choir, to the adults (age doesn’t matter!) in our Parental Guidance ensemble.
The concert included almost all of our ensembles:’
- Blast Off
- Concert Orchestra
- Concert Band
- HYJO (Harrogate Youth Jazz Orchestra)
- HYPE (Harrogate Youth Percussion Ensemble)
- Parental Guidance
- String Ensemble
- Youth Choir
Here are some photos and videos, to remember such a fantastic evening. Well done to everyone that took part!
